Funksion is a 9-piece party band consisting of a 4-piece rhythm section, 3-piece horn section, along with male and female vocalists. They perform music by some of the best Funk, Soul, Rock, Blues, and Jazz groups from the past 40 years. Some of the groups covered include Tower of Power, Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, etc.
Performing since 2002, Funksion includes some of the most talented musicians in Houston, each with over 20 years experience.
